CEESA
QSI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF CHISINAU is a member of the Central Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA). Presently, there are more than 60 schools, which are full or associate members of CEESA. One of the biggest benefits of membership in CEESA is that the association sponsors activities in academics, athletics, culture, and the fine arts for middle and high school students from its member schools. Our Middle School and Secondary students have an opportunity to take part in a variety of CEESA events that may include Robotics, Knowledge Bowl, Speech and Debate, and a wide variety of athletics such as Cross Country, Basketball, Soccer, and Volleyball.
CEESA MISSION STATEMENT
The sports and activities of CEESA facilitate the development of each student through academic, athletic, and artistic/cultural endeavors. CEESA seeks to create, promote, and foster cooperation among its member schools by providing a forum for communication and discussion, and by promoting student activities. At every activity or competition, CEESA sports and activities attempts to maximize the cultural, social and intercultural opportunities associated with the host venue.

CEESA is the Central and Eastern European Schools Association, a regional association for international schools of which QSI Chisinau is a member. Membership is for schools that are supported by the US Department of State in Eastern Europe.
CEESA organizes a wide variety of sporting, academic and cultural activities that QSI Chisinau students participate in with great commitment and success. Student activities include a Cultural Arts Festival; celebrations; and sporting tournaments in football, basketball, volleyball, swimming, tennis, softball, track & field, and cross-country. Students travel to tournaments and competitions held in various European cities each year.
CEESA also supports the professional needs of teachers with job-alike meetings, school exchanges, and teaching workshops. In addition, there is an Annual Conference, bringing together 250 teachers for professional growth, information sharing and networking. CEESA organizes several meetings during the year for school administrators, for the purpose of collaboration and planning.
